TORONTO -- A museum retrospective on filmmaker Guillermo del Toro will make its only Canadian appearance at the Art Gallery of Ontario next year.
The AGO says it will run "Guillermo del Toro: At Home With Monsters" from Sept. 30, 2017 to Jan. 7, 2018.
The show looks at the creative process of the Mexican writer-director, whose films include "Pan's Labyrinth," "Hellboy" and "Biutiful."
It includes about 500 objects, from sculpture to paintings and costumes.
The AGO organized the exhibit with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
The show will open in Los Angeles on July 31.
