Women of the world! Put down your pens, because the movie trailer you’ve been waiting for has arrived. Universal Pictures has released its preview for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, even though it is not slated for release until next year.
The two-and-a-half minute trailer artfully teases the relationship between Christian Grey, played by Jamie Dornan, and Anastasia Steele, played by Dakota Johnson, from the moment they first meet to Anastasia’s introduction to Christian’s S&M dungeon, known as the Red Room of Pain.
The trailer is set to the film’s exclusive remix of Beyonce’s hit single “Crazy in Love,” which is almost unrecognizable at the beginning. Beyonce herself teased the track on her Instagram account last week.
While it appears that the full-length trailer won’t be played on television screens to appease skittish U.S. networks, it will no doubt be an online hit for fans of the film.
