THORSBY, Alta. -- A 23-year-old woman who was reported missing has been found dead in a rural area in central Alberta.
Mounties say Kelsey Nicole Kramer's body was found Friday afternoon in a densely wooded rural area near the Genesee Natural Area, about 90 kilometres southwest of Edmonton.
Kramer's mother had reported her missing to Drayton Valley RCMP on March 22.
Police say Kramer was last seen and heard from on March 19 and investigators found a vehicle she was known to be driving in a rural location.
An autopsy is scheduled for next week in Edmonton.
