SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. -- RCMP say they have charged two teens after a student made threats against a school in southwestern Saskatchewan.

Police say at no time were any students or staff at Swift Current Comprehensive High School at any immediate risk.

Ryan Pierone, who is 18, is charged with uttering threats and possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The imitation weapon was an airsoft gun.

He is to appear in Swift Current provincial court on Jan. 24.

Kolton Cunningham, who is also 18, is charged with uttering threats and is to appear in court on Friday.
