A furry raccoon surprised travellers at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport Saturday when it popped its head out of the ceiling and ogled the crowd below.
The curious animal can be seen with its head sticking out of an open ceiling tile and peering down at the Terminal 3 baggage claim area. Groups of people stopped to take video and pictures of the raccoon.
A spokesperson for the Greater Toronto Transit Authority said they were working on safely and humanely relocating the critter.
Our wildlife team is working to safely and humanely relocate the raccoon spotted in the terminal.
