RED DEER, Alta. - A man who police allege killed another man while stealing his truck has been arrested.

Dawson Wegner Cramer, known as D.J., was found injured March 16 in an alley behind his Red Deer home and later died in hospital.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Alexander Michael Talbot, 24, who is charged with manslaughter and stealing Wegner's vehicle.

Police say Talbot was located in Red Deer and arrested Friday afternoon without incident.

RCMP allege the accused was in the process of stealing the white Ford F650 when Wegner confronted him.

Police allege the accused hit Wegner with the truck, which resulted in his death.
