A Ford dealership in Ohio is selling supercharged 727-horsepower Mustangs for $39,995 USD.

Lebanon Ford has managed to tweak the numbers and net a small return fitting $32,395-MSRP (USD) 2016 Mustang GTs with $7,549-MSRP Roush Stage 2 superchargers.

“[We wanted] to focus on establishing a nationwide base of enthusiasts rather than making huge profits on each car,” is how parts manager Charlie Watson explained the dealership’s rationale to The Drive, adding Lebanon Ford will ship anywhere in the U.S.

The cars come fitted with the stock tires, suspension, and other components that should likely be upgraded to handle the power, and in most cases are, Watson says.

Of the two dozen-plus sold so far, most have wound up being optioned up to $45,000 or $50,000, thanks to higher-durability parts and things like bigger brakes, though cosmetic upgrades like Roush body kits have driven up prices, too.

On its website, Lebanon Ford says with some of the aforementioned upgrades, the cars can easily pull off quarter-mile times under 11 seconds; and that delivery takes about 10 to 12 weeks from purchase.
