Elliot Rodger, California mass killing suspect, voiced hate for women in the past

The social media activity of Elliot Rodger, the suspect in a mass killing in southern California that claimed the lives of six victims, reveals that he subscribed to various online groups where aggressive and negative views toward women were often expressed.

Rodger, 22, posted a hate-filled message to YouTube before allegedly starting his killing spree Friday night. In the video, he talks about the loneliness and pain he says he endured at the hands of the women who rejected him, and the men they preferred over him. According to him, it was unfair that women denied him affection.

In the video, Rodger outlined his plans to seek his revenge by going to a sorority house on the University of California Santa Barbara campus and killing "every single spoiled stuck up blond sl*t" there.

He also says: "You girls have never been attracted to me. I don't know why you girls aren't attracted to me, but I will punish you for it.

"I'll take great pleasure in slaughtering all of you. You will finally see that I am the superior one, the true Alpha male."

According to police, Rodger stabbed three people to death Friday night before setting out on a shooting rampage, where he proceeded to kill three others and injure 13, before taking his own life.

In addition to his own video, Rodger also subscribed to several YouTube channels that feature videos offering men advice on how to attract and pick up women. In several of the videos, the tips and advice take an aggressive tone.

One of the channels, called "RSDFreeTour," contains videos titled "How banging lots of girls makes you a man … or a confused little boy who think's he's grown up" and "Stop waiting to be the man! The truth about why you should feel entitled RIGHT now."

There are also reports that Rodger was an active member of PuaHate.com, an online message board where commenters often voiced their dismay at the fact that women are not attracted to them. Since Friday's shooting, the website has been taken down.

According to a blog post from the Southern Poverty Law Center, many of the commenters on the website identified as "incels," a term used to describe individuals who were involuntarily celibate. Rodger claimed in his video rant that he was a virgin and had never been kissed.

Last November, Rodger angrily rejected a suggestion that "incels" might opt for lucid dreaming instead of sex, according to the SPLC.

"If all incels were to start getting sedated by lucid dreaming, incels will become docile and there will be no revolution," he reportedly wrote.

Instead, Rodger suggested that "incels" must take action in the face of adversity.

"If we can't solve our problems, we must destroy our problems," he reportedly wrote. "One day incels will realize their true strength and numbers, and will overthrow this oppressive feminist system.

"Start envisioning a world where WOMEN FEAR YOU."

Other posts reportedly written by Rodger revealed a deep resentment toward interracial dating.

In a January post, he reportedly wrote about how angry he became after seeing non-white men interacting with white women.

"Today I drove through the area near my college and saw some things that were extremely rage-inducing," he reportedly said.

"I passed by this restaurant and I saw this black guy chilling with 4 hot white girls. He didn't even look good. Then later on in the day I was shopping at Trader Joe's and saw an Indian guy with 2 above average white girls!!!

"What rage-inducing sights did you guys see today? Don't you just hate seeing these things when you go out? It just makes you want to quit life."
