A pair of junior varsity games kicked off week three of the Winnipeg high school football season Tuesday. John Taylor continued to flex their power on both sides of the ball by securing a 28-9 win over Windsor Park. Meanwhile, River East doubled Grant Park 40-20 to grab their first win of the season. JV action continues Wednesday with five games on the docket. The day starts with Brandon’s Vincent Massey taking on Sturgeon at 2:30 p.m. The last game of the day starts at 7 p.m. and will be a battle between Oak Park and Dakota. The rest of the week is also jam-packed with games every day until Saturday, which will feature Tec Voc’s 75th anniversary game and then St. Paul’s marking 100 years on Saturday.
