Manitoba RCMP have charged a 16-year-old male who allegedly threatened to livestream a shooting. According to RCMP, officers were alerted by the Winnipeg Police Service to a threatening video posted online on Tuesday. The video allegedly showed a male threatening to livestream an active shooting and claiming he had firearms. RCMP and Winnipeg police began investigating and identified a suspect from St. Theresa Point First Nation. Mounties went to the community on Wednesday and arrested a 16-year-old male without incident. Ammunition was found inside the teen’s home, and four unsecured firearms were found in a house next door, according to police. The teen was taken into custody and charged with uttering threats. The charge has not been proven in court. RCMP continue to investigate.
