Three cottage-country communities are voting for new representatives. Victoria Beach. Winnipeg Beach, and Dunnottar are holding municipal elections on Friday. Election locations are open between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and voters will need to bring photo identification. Victoria Beach Cabin owners won’t have to make the trip out to cottage country to vote. The municipality set up a voting location in Winnipeg, at 2035 Portage Ave. Those in town can vote at the Beaches Community Centre, located at 65 Hwy 59N, in Victoria Beach. Winnipeg Beach Residents of Winnipeg Beach can cast their vote at the Winnipeg Beach Municipal Recreation Centre, located at 32 Hamilton Ave. Advance voting was previously held in Winnipeg Beach on July 10 and 11, with a Winnipeg location open on July 14. Dunnottar Those in the village of Dunnottar will cast their ballots at Matlock Recreation Centre, located at 77 Matlock Rd.
