Manitobans are invited to a holiday party at the Manitoba Legislative Building. The government house will be decked out for the holidays during an annual Holiday Open House happening Saturday, December 6. “The Legislative Building is the people’s building and this event is one of my favourite opportunities to welcome everyone inside,” said Premier Wab Kinew in the announcement. Kinew said visitors can expect music, food, and “plenty of festive cheer”. The open house runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will also be livestreamed. The event is free of charge; however, Kinew invited attendees to bring non-perishable food donations for the Christmas Cheer Board.
