The Winnipeg Jets’ Hockey Club announced Thursday morning that a limited number of wait list spots for the 2012- 2013 season will be available Friday. The vacancies are the result of many original wait list members shifting into season ticket agreements. During the Jet’s inaugural season, original wait list members were permitted an exclusive ability to purchase individual Winnipeg Jets’ game day tickets. Wait list members were granted other benefits such as merchandise discounts and invitations to the Winnipeg Jets wait list open practices. The Drive to 13,000, in May of 2011, saw the Jets sell 13,000 in in mere minutes silencing Canadian NHL franchise critics. After the drive, a wait list was created. The limited amout of wait list tickets, for the 2012–2013 Winnipeg Jets season, will be made available Friday, Aug.10 at 10:00 a.m. A one-time, non-refundable deposit of $50 per seat will be required at a maximum of two seats selected per person. In addition, each July a $100 annual membership fee will be due to maintain wait list status.
