While the sun will shine on Winnipeg and the southeast, Tuesday will be a cloudier day in Brandon and the southwest. Midday showers in Dauphin will move into parts of the Interlake. There is a lesser chance of showers across the southwest on Tuesday, with the risk of thunderstorms. Daytime highs across most of the south will hover around 24 C this afternoon, except for the Parkland Region, where temperatures will remain slightly cooler in the low 20s. The chance of scattered showers continues across northern and central regions on Tuesday, although the odds are lower in most larger towns and cities. There is also a low chance of showers across northwestern Ontario on Tuesday. Otherwise, the region will enjoy pleasant summertime conditions – a mix of sun and cloud, lights winds and daytime highs in the mid-20s. Ahead on Tuesday night, the skies across southeastern Manitoba will clear, including Winnipeg. Meanwhile, a low chance of showers will continue across the rest of Manitoba and into Ontario. The midweek will bring pleasant conditions to Winnipeg, with sunshine and highs between 23 C and 25 C on Wednesday and Thursday. Expect a cloudier day on Friday in the city, and be prepared for showers in the evening - particularly if you’re heading out to Princess Auto Stadium for Bombers’ matchup against the Ottawa Redblacks.
