Suspects arrested after 72 parked vehicles damaged in Windsor, Ont.

Police officers in Windsor, Ont., have charged three suspects related to 40 additional vehicles being damaged across the city.

In total, police say more than 70 parked vehicles were damaged on four different dates between Sept. 9 and Oct. 1. Police say several of the vehicles also had their contents stolen, and a stolen credit card was used to make multiple purchases following one of the incidents.

On Oct. 4, two 19-year-olds turned themselves in at Windsor Police Headquarters. The third suspect, an 18-year-old, turned himself in the following day, according to police.

Officers have laid a total of 126 charges, including mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, fraud under $5,000, having face masked, possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime, using a credit card obtained by an offence, and failure to comply with a release order.
