Fire crews battled a fire that started in a detached garage in the 3100 block of Dominion Boulevard Saturday night. According to Windsor Fire officials, the fire extended into the single storey house and the attic of a nearby house, but was brought under control. Windsor police, paramedics, Enbridge Gas, and Enwin Utilities also attended the scene to assist. The damage to the house is estimated at $350,000 with an additional $20,000 in damages to an exposure and vehicle. The cause is undetermined, but started in the garage. No injuries were reported, but five people have been displaced from two houses.
