40 engineering and tech jobs expected with Solize Partners investment

An engineering company is making a big investment in Windsor-Essex, set to bring dozens of jobs to the area. CTV Windsor’s Travis Fortnum shares the details.

A global engineering and digital solutions company has announced a $2-million investment in Windsor.

Solize Partners says the investment will result in the creation of about 40 new engineering and technical jobs in the region.Officials say Windsor was selected for its strong automotive heritage, diverse technical talent, and strategic proximity to Detroit, allowing seamless collaboration with Solize’s U.S. headquarters.

The investment positions the company as a new contributor to the region’s evolving automotive and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.“We are excited about the unique strengths Windsor-Essex brings to our global operations,” said Bharath Mani, executive leader of Solize U.S.

“The region’s deep industry roots and skilled workforce make it an ideal location to support Canada’s automotive ambitions.”

Solize Partners’ investment intends to promote job growth by targeting 15 to 20 per cent annual growth in Canada and the addition of 20 to 40 more local jobs over the next two to three years.

The company aims to help Canadian manufacturers strengthen and diversify their engineering capacity by leveraging the company’s global engineering network across its various offices in India, Japan, China and Thailand.

The Solize Partners team welcomed Windsor partners to the company’s Global Engineering Center in Yamato, Kanagawa where they toured a 3D printing factory. The group had the opportunity to see prototype drones and thermal management components developed using in-house design, simulation and 3D printing technologies, as well as specialized small batch mass-production 3D-printed parts for the automotive industry.
