The Government of British Columbia is walking back its decision to fire the Greater Victoria School District's board of trustees. The entire board was dismissed in 2025 over its policy to keep police out of schools. The matter is scheduled to be heard in court the week of May 25, 2026, but as of that date, the Province's case has crumbled.
