An arrest has been made after a teenager was shot with a BB gun on Monday night in Vancouver’s Kerrisdale neighbourhood, police say. The victim was near Point Grey Secondary School at around 9:45 p.m. when a group approached. According to the Vancouver Police Department, this group left the area, but returned, and a youth shot the teenage victim in the neck. Police say the victim wasn’t injured, but officers attended the area and arrested the suspect, finding and seizing a BB gun, a knife, and a can of bear spray in the process. The VPD says “a violation ticket was issued in relation to possession of the bear spray.” Police say the investigation remains ongoing and a report will be submitted to Crown counsel.
