At least one suspect is at large after a stabbing on a TransLink bus in East Vancouver on Tuesday morning, according to police. The Metro Vancouver Transit Police told CTV News in an email that officers responded to an “altercation” on board the bus around 10:10 a.m. near Hastings and Kootenay streets, by the Kootenay Loop exchange. Police found a victim, a senior citizen, with stab wounds, and he was taken to hospital. Assist. Sgt. Sunny Kainth said the extent of the man’s injuries “are still unknown as he is still receiving medical care.” “No suspects are in custody at this time and police are still investigating,” the email reads.
