Motorcyclist dead after crash in Pitt Meadows, B.C., police say

Authorities are investigating a crash between an SUV and motorcycle in Pitt Meadows, B.C., that left a man dead over the weekend.

The B.C. RCMP said the vehicles collided around 5:20 p.m. Sunday near Golden Ears Way and the Lougheed Highway offramp, and that the motorcyclist was killed.

The cause of the crash hasn’t been determined.

A stretch of Golden Ears Way was closed for hours Sunday as members of the RCMP’s Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service gathered evidence at the scene.
