A suspect has been charged with murder following an assault in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside neighbourhood last month. Authorities said the victim, 45-year-old Mark Andrew Roasa, was attacked by a stranger near Gore Avenue and Powell Street around 3 a.m. on Nov. 28. Officers identified a suspect and arrested him over the weekend near Main Street and Terminal Avenue, the Vancouver Police Department said Tuesday. The B.C. Prosecution Service has since approved one count of second-degree murder against 33-year-old Korey Robert Muskett. Police said Muskett remains in custody.
