VANCOUVER — Canpotex, a joint venture owned by the Mosaic Company and Nutrien Ltd., has announced a $500-million investment in a terminal located at the Port of Vancouver. The company says the project will replace and modernize infrastructure at Neptune Bulk Terminals, including shiploaders, conveyors and more. Canpotex says construction is expected to be completed in 2028, with shipping continuing uninterrupted during the process. Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe says in a news release that by moving more potash to international markets, the project will support economic growth in the province and Canada as a whole. Canpotex CEO Gordon McKenzie says the investment means it will be able to export potash through the Port of Vancouver for decades to come. Saskatoon-based Canpotex markets and delivers potash produced by Mosaic and Nutrien. This report by The Canadian Press was first published Sept. 25, 2026. Companies in this story: (TSX:NTR)
