Mounties say a man is recovering from stab wounds after allegedly being attacked by a group of people near Lund, B.C., north of Powell River. Police say they were notified that a 45-year-old man was admitted to hospital with multiple stab wounds on Sunday morning. Powell River RCMP are looking into the incident and explain that initial evidence from their investigation suggests “the victim was walking along Highway 101 at around 4:00 a.m. when he was allegedly attacked by a group of unknown suspects. Mounties say the man is expected to survive and have asked anyone with information about this incident to contact the Powell River RCMP at 604-485-6255.
