1 hospitalized after ‘targeted’ shooting in Langley’s Brookswood area: police

Mounties say someone was hospitalized after a targeted shooting in Langley’s Brookswood area early Monday morning.

Langley RCMP say officers were called to the 3000 block of 205 Street just after midnight with reports of a shooting.

Police say a victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds and transported to hospital by B.C. Emergency Health Services.

In a statement, Sgt. Zynal Sharoom said investigators believe this shooting to be a “targeted” and isolated incident.

“Our officers will remain in the area today to canvas for video surveillance and potential witnesses to further the investigation,” he said.
