ADELAIDE, Australia - A U.S. monitoring agency says a 7.2-magnitude earthquake has struck deep in the ocean off the coast of Fiji.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage after the temblor hit at 10:44 p.m. Monday.
The U.S. Geological Survey says about the quake was centred 110 kilometres north of Suva, the capital, at a depth of 570 kilometres.
