A man in is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Ottawa’s south end on Saturday. According to Ottawa paramedics, first responders were called to Bank Street and Albion Road at approximately 1:25 p.m. A grey hatchback was spotted at the scene behind police crime tape. Ottawa paramedics said after the crash a man in his 60s was taken to hospital in critical condition. Police said in a later news release the pedestrian was a 74-year-old man. The man suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. The roads have since reopened. Ottawa police are seeking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have doorbell camera footage that captured the collision.
