A Toronto man has been arrested and a firearm seized following a robbery at a Mississauga hotel earlier this month, Peel police say. In a news release, officers say they responded at around 3:30 a.m. on March 7 to a hotel in the Hurontario Street and Derry Road area after receiving reports of a robbery. Police allege an adult male victim was robbed at gunpoint by three suspects who then fled the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries during the incident. Investigators later executed a search warrant at the hotel, which led to the recovery of a firearm. As a result, Abdoulkader Abdi, 33, of Toronto, and faces the following charges: Police have also issued an arrest warrant for Kimberly MacIntyre, 28, of Mississauga, who is wanted for Robbery. She is described as white, approximately five-foot-five and 120 lbs, with a thin build, long brown hair, blue eyes, and a birthmark on the left side of her nose. She was last seen wearing a black winter coat with a brown fur-trimmed hood. Investigators are also seeking the public’s help identifying a third suspect, described as a male between 20 and 25 years old with a light complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, blue hooded tracksuit, grey running shoes, and a black balaclava. Anyone with information is asked to contact Peel Regional Police.
