Man fatally shot in Brampton, suspect(s) at-large: police

A man is dead following a shooting in Brampton on Saturday night, police say.

The incident happened near Loafers Lake Lane and Conestoga Drive, which is north of Sandalwood Parkway East and west of Kennedy Road North.

Peel Regional Police they were called to that area just after 7:15 p.m.

There, officers located a male victim, who has since been pronounced deceased.

The suspect(s), police said, fled the area.

Paramedics told CTV News Toronto that a young adult male died at the scene. No other injuries have been reported, they said.

Investigators say they believe this to be an “isolated incident at this time” and are urging anyone with information or video footage to contact the Homicide Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3205, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
