A third vehicle police say was being driven by two suspects wanted in connection with a fatal, “targeted” shooting in Niagara Falls has been found, however the suspects remain outstanding. The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. on July 16 at a home on Thorold Stone Road, near Dorchester Road. Niagara Regional Police Service said two suspects visited the home and shot a man with a handgun. The victim was taken to the hospital but police said he succumbed to his injuries shortly after. Police have now identified him as 35-year-old Mitchell Snoddon. The searrch continues for 23-year-old Maroof Bangi and 30-year-old Josta Grace Macneal, who are now both wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder. It is unclear at this time whether the suspects and victim were known to each other. Suspects fleeing in different vehicles Investigators say the suspects drove away from the scene in a newer white Nissan SUV, possibly similar to a Rogue. That vehicle has since been recovered. In an update on Sunday, police indicated that the suspects were likely driving a black 2021 Mazda CX5, but officers later located that vehicle too. They also said at that time that they believe the duo may alter their appearance to avoid being found, which could include changing their hair or facial hair, makeup, or clothes. On Tuesday, police said they believe Bangi and Macneal were driving a 2016 Toyota Camry with Ontario licence plate DFWX808. Officials said at the time that it has LED headlights and damage on the front and rear doors on the passenger side, as well as a large crack on the front bumper on the driver’s side. The sedan, they said, was last seen driving along Highway 45 in Hastings, Ont., which is roughly 36 kilometres east of Peterborough. Police announced on Wednesday that that vehicle was located by Saint Eustache Police Service in Saint Eustache, Que. Bangi, Macneal remain on the run The suspects, however, are still on the run. Police say they do not know at this point if Bangi and Macneal are using a fourth vehicle. Police are appealing to the public for any information on their whereabouts and are urging anyone who sees Bangi or Macneal to not approach them, but instead call 911 immediately. “No firearm has been recovered in this incident, therefore, (the suspects) are still considered armed and dangerous at this time,” police said.
