Halton police are investigating a shooting in Georgetown on Wednesday night that left two people injured. Police said a call came in around 10:30 p.m. for the sound of gunshots in the area of Tenth Line and River Drive, near Highway 7 and Winston Churchill Boulevard. When officers arrived, they did not find any victims at the scene but located evidence that a shooting had taken place, investigators said. Shortly after, police said they learned that two shooting victims showed up at a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. No suspect information has been released.
