NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. - Niagara region police have charged two people with human trafficking offences after they say a young woman was forced to work as an online escort. Police say an 18-year-old woman was held against her will and forced to meet with strangers who replied to Internet ads for escort services. They say two suspects were arrested Friday. Rubin Lindsay, 23, is charged with forcible confinement, uttering threats, assault, trafficking in persons, financial or material benefit and failing to comply with a probation order. Alexandria Slack, 18, is charged with trafficking in persons, financial or material benefit and forcible confinement.
