Toronto police have released an image of a driver wanted in a hit-and-run in North York that left a teen motorcyclist seriously injured earlier this month. The collision happened on Carnforth Road, in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue, shortly after 6:30 p.m. on July 15. Police said a 17-year-old boy was riding a motorcycle southbound on Carnforth Road when a northbound white Honda Civic crossed the centre line and struck him. The driver of the Honda fled while the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. In a news release on Tuesday, police described the driver as a man last seen wearing black pants, a black t-shirt with a graphic on the front, white and black basketball shoes, and a black face covering. Police are asking anyone who can identify the driver to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
