Police identify 23-year-old woman found dead inside St. Catharines home

Homicide detectives in Niagara Region have now confirmed the identity of a 23-year-old woman found dead inside a home in St. Catharines earlier this month.

Officers were called to the area of Lakeshore Road and Lake Street on May 15 for reports of two people without vital signs.

When officers arrived on scene, they discovered 23-year-old Vidhi Kalpeshkumar Megha dead inside a residence.

Police have not released a cause of death.

Investigators previously confirmed that 40-year-old Joshua St. Omer, of St. Catharines, has been charged with second-degree murder.
