Several roads in downtown and west-end Toronto will be closed this weekend as events across the city ramp up. In addition to a number of closures related to FIFA World Cup 2026–related events, roads will also be affected by parades, street festivals, construction projects and charity events. Here’s what you need to know. Taste of Little Italy College Street between Bathurst Street and Shaw Street will be closed throughout the weekend for the Taste of Little Italy street festival. Closures begin Friday at 10 a.m. and will remain in place until 3 a.m. Monday. Portugal Day Parade Multiple roads will be closed Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Portugal Day parade.
