Toronto police say a man was taken to hospital after a stabbing late Friday morning in the city’s downtown core. Officers were called to George Hislop Park, near Isabella Street and Yonge Street, at around 10:40 a.m. for reports of a stabbing. Police say a male victim was transported to hospital. Paramedics tell CP24 the man is believed to be in “serious life -threatening injuries.” The suspect fled the area before officers arrived. Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto police.
