Homicide unit investigating fatal shooting of man who showed up at Toronto hospital

A man who showed up at a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds has now died, Toronto police say.

Investigators say the man was brought to a hospital for treatment at around 5:20 a.m. and was later pronounced dead.

Police have not released any information about the victim or possible suspects in the case.

It is not clear where the shooting took place.

The homicide unit has now taken over the investigation.
