Provincial police say they stopped a driver going 205 km/h in Vaughan overnight on Saturday. Ontario Provincial Police’s Highway 407 detachment said they stopped the driver of an Audi on Pine Valley Drive shortly after 1:35 a.m. OPP also administered a breathalyzer on the driver, and they said he registered an alert. A 40-year-old man from Pickering was charged with careless driving, speeding and stunt driving. Police also suspended his licence for 30 days. His Audi will be impounded for 14 days. “Please slow down and don’t drive and drive,” provincial police wrote in a social media post.
