GO Train passengers had some unexpected company Thursday morning when two twin Angora goats hopped aboard a westbound train. The pair, named Sugar and Spice, made the trip from Scarborough GO Station to Union Station as part of their duties as the official ambassadors of the Royal Winter Agricultural Fair. “They love the attention. They love the camera and they’ve been making their way around the city,” Katie Brown, of the Royal Winter Fair, said during an interview with CTV News Toronto. “They’ve gone to see some of the important landmarks in our city, like the CN Tower, and they seem to be really cool and calm and enjoying themselves.” Brown said the pair are friendly and that people are allowed to pet them. It remains unclear whether the two goats paid their fare. The 104th annual Royal Winter Fair is set to run Nov. 6 to 15 at Toronto’s Exhibition Place.
