Three people are injured, one critically, after a two-car crash in Scarborough on Monday. It happened just before 12:10 p.m. in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue. Paramedics tell CTV News that one young adult was sent to a trauma centre with serious, life-threatening injuries. Police tell CTV News that a 16-year-old male pedestrian was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They add that the occupants of one vehicle, the driver and a passenger, were sent to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. The other vehicle involved in the collision was parked at the time. Chopper footage shows one silver sedan crashed into a pole with its front bumper hanging off and damaged windshield. At the opposite end of the lot, another silver sedan is pictured with its back, driver’s side door smashed in. Toronto police said all drivers remained at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the collision are unknown at this time. Police had urged drivers to take alternate routes but the roads have since reopened. More details to come...
