TORONTO - Detroit teen Kevin Kristopik learned a valuable lesson this weekend: don't mess with Justin Bieber.

Kristopik told the Detroit Free Press that he "meddled into (Bieber's) life" by somehow getting the pop star's phone number.

The teen then said Bieber used Twitter to take "revenge."

In a tweet posted at 10:47 p.m. Saturday, which was deleted soon after, Bieber sent out a phone number that he claimed was his and invited his 4.5 million followers to call or text him.

And call and text they did.

But Bieber actually posted Kristopik's cellphone number and the hapless teen soon found his iPhone rendered useless as it was bombarded by Bieber fans.

In a video posted to YouTube, his phone can be seen getting a steady stream of calls and texts. He told the Detroit Free Press he'd received an estimated 26,000 text messages.

By Monday afternoon, Bieber had not commented about the incident on Twitter.
