EXETER, Ont. - Provincial police have determined that a green Ford Taurus originally sought in a double homicide has no links to the crime.

Police recovered the vehicle last Wednesday after it went missing days earlier around the time of the killings of William and Helene Regier in Mount Carmel, Ont.

Investigators say the Taurus was stolen during a break and enter July 22 and is not linked to the homicides.

Police are still seeking a grey GMC Sierra pickup truck which belonged to the Regiers.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Jesse Imeson, 22, in the killings of the Regiers and bartender Carlos Rivera in Windsor, Ont.

The funeral for the slain couple takes place Monday in their tiny farming community.
