A 29-year-old man has been charged following the sexual assault of a 22-year-old woman late Tuesday night. Shortly before midnight, police say they were called to a home in the 500 block of 11th Street East for an assault in progress. Officers arrived and located the 29-year-old accused, who was arrested. The woman was taken to hospital by Parkland Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the accused will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Sept. 17.
