A charitable competition went to new heights in Saskatoon on Thursday - 22 flights of stairs, to be exact. The 12th annual Stair Climb Challenge was held at Luther Tower, with 16 teams fundraising for LutherCare’s services and supports. Residents cheered on the competitors, as four and five person teams raced up the stairs in support of the hundreds of residents and clients who live at LutherCare’s independent living facilities, care homes and group homes. CTV Saskatoon’s ‘Walk Don’t Talk’ team of Jeremy Dodge, Blair Farthing, Jeff Rogstad and Chantel Saunders took part in the fun, clocking a time of one minute and 22 seconds. Precision Paving and Landscaping finished first in the four-person category with a time of 57.51 seconds. The University of Saskatchewan Huskies Track Team was the fastest five-person team, climbing 22 flights of stairs in a blistering 54.56 seconds. With files from Chantel Saunders
