A shed fire Tuesday afternoon quickly turned into a bigger problem for Saskatoon firefighters. Crews were called to the 400 block of Avenue R South around 4:30 p.m. for reports of a shed on fire. They arrived to find the fire had spread to an adjacent home and cube van and was also impacting overhead powerlines and a natural gas line. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control, and there were no injuries to report. There’s no word yet on what started the fire, or a damage estimate. A fire investigator is working to identify the cause and the origin of the blaze.
