A fire at a processing plant in Corman Park was extinguished without any injuries Friday night. According to the Saskatoon Fire Department, crews were called to the commercial structure fire at 10 p.m. on Aug. 21. Firefighters arrived to find light smoke coming from the second level of a large processing plant. Crews searched the building to locate the source of the fire and confirmed all machinery in the affected area had been shut down and de-energized. Multiple hose lines were then used to extinguish the blaze. The fire was completely extinguished and no injuries were reported among civilians or firefighters. The scene was turned over to the Corman Park Police Service for further investigation.
