A man from Alberta is dead after a pickup truck and a semi-truck collided west of Marengo, Sask. The crash was reported at around 4:25 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 7, about six kilometres west of Marengo. Officers with Kindersley RCMP responded to the scene along with local firefighters and paramedics. Police say the driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene EMS. He has been identified as a 63-year-old man from Sylvan Lake, Alta. His family has been notified. The driver of the semi-truck was not physically injured, according to RCMP. Police say officers continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist. Margeno is located around 240 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon.
