St. John Ambulance Saskatchewan has a new location for its provincial headquarters. Now located as 1445 Park Street, the charity has more space to offer classes, access to first aid products, and host volunteers. St. John Ambulance provides first aid courses at various levels, babysitter training, and naloxone training. Over 350 volunteers from first aid responders to therapy dog teams will use the new building. “This year we are launching a new Saskatchewan tailored naloxone administration program. So, this is a two-hour course that is tailored for the Saskatchewan context to administer intravenous and inhalant naloxone,” said St. John Ambulance Saskatchewan CEO Jonathan Tremblay. “The course notably comes with naloxone that people can take home and become those lifesavers at their workplace, in their communities.” The new location opened at the end of August. The charity has operated in the province since 1911.
