The Saskatchewanderer has entered a new chapter, as Tourism Saskatchewan looks to centralize its long-running series dedicated to highlighting the province’s lesser-known wonders and attractions. The travel centric account on both Instagram and Facebook posted its final update on Jan. 14, capping off years of content creation, totalling 2251 posts. The Saskatchewanderer is described as the “official travel blogger and adventurer for the province of Saskatchewan” and has worked to shine a spotlight on the most interesting sights and sounds for those interested in seeing what Saskatchewan has to offer. Recently, the account turned over the reigns to various content creators, who covered various topics on a week by week basis, such as the best sandwich shops in the province. The adventures of the Saskatchewanderer will now move to Tourism Saskatchewan’s main accounts on both Instagram and Facebook – while the former accounts will remain online as archives for past adventures.
