Regina Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect following a theft in the city’s east end. It happened Sept. 2 in the 2200 block of Victoria Avenue East. Police say an unknown woman went to a business and attempted to purchase an item worth more than $1,000. The woman, pictured below, went through the transaction process using a debit machine, but police say she left with the item while an employee was distracted, and before the payment was completed.
